With summer festival season in full swing BBC Music Introducing In Guernsey for August 2018 featured a live session from Savage Sons, a band who’ve been steadily building their reputation at those festivals as well as recently releasing their debut EP, Howlin’.
The trio joined me in the studio to play some songs and tell us about how they came together and what they are doing.
We also heard from Robert J. Hunter following the announcement that he will be playing the BBC Introducing Stage at The Long Road festival.
And we took at look at who’s playing next month’s Sark Roots Festival as well as a mini retrospective of the career of Of Empires who announced they are soon to call it a day.
