On the November 2018 edition of BBC Music Introducing In Guernsey I was joined in the studio by a band an artist preparing to release their debut EPs.

Kiya Ashton has been gigging for a couple of years both in bands and, more prominently now, solo playing her own brand of folk inflected dark rock. Her debut EP, Sweet Decadence, comes out on December 5th and she joined me to play a live session.

The Honest Crooks have been gigging for a good while now, becoming one of the highlights of the music scene in Guernsey. On December 8th they release their debut EP, Crook, Line & Sinker, I spoke to them about the EP and previewed three tracks from it.

We also hear from The Recks from BBC Introducing Live that took place at Tobacco Dock in London a few weeks ago where the band played and take a look back at the Sound At St James festival, the Havoc Events Metal Night and Thee Jenerators return to the stage alongside Gay Army.

You can listen to the show through the BBC Sounds app or through the BBC Guernsey website for the next month by clicking here.
