For my BBC Music Introducing In The Channel Islands show in October 2019 we celebrated a couple of the heavier bands to have released new music in the islands in recent weeks.
First was Byzanthian Neckbeard who, after a five year break since their debut album, have released a new EP, Extinction, and are launching their second full length record, Minaton, next weekend.
Second was WaterColour Matchbox who launched their second album, Pathways, a few weeks ago with a special show at St James.
We also had a preview of The Recks session at Maida Vale as we heard from the band about their experience before the session is broadcast at the beginning of December.
