For my edition of BBC Music Introducing In The Channel Islands for September 2019 I featured two up and coming acts from Guernsey with rather different styles.
In session was Nick Coleman who’s made a name for himself as a solo artist over the last few years but is now expanding his sound with two different band projects on the go including Mojo.
Coastal Fire Dept. also spoke to me about their rather tumultuous time as a band thus far and their upcoming debut ‘mini-album’, Control.
As well as that there were new singles from Jersey three-piece Hot Juice, Sark based indie-folksters The Recks, Guernsey’s Citizen-X and more
