To say March has been an odd month for all of us would be an understatement but with that, and particularly before everything kicked off in earnest, there was a lot of great music going on that I’ve distilled into my playlist.
I’m not going to give a long explanation this month but where there are relevant links you can find them alongside the track list below and the full Spotify playlist is under that along with the usual bonus thing…
Playlist
- Kings – American Rust (from the American Rust EP)
- Tadhg Daly – Come Alive (single)
- Stone Cold Fiction – Landscape (from Strange Times)
- Hollie Lucia – Scales-Weights (single and as heard at the Vale Earth Fair Sneakaway To The Library)
- Flexagon – Mont Crevelt 4am (from 7 Nocturnes East)
- Charlie Winston – Like A Hobo (from Hobo and as heard at Guernsey Gigs Unplugged Club)
- Rosalie Cunningham – Ride On My Bike (from her self-titled album)
- The Smiths – Panic
- Arcade Fire – The Suburbs (from The Suburbs)
- Kenny Rogers & The First Edition – Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) (from The First Edition and as heard in The Big Lebowski)
And for the bonus this month a live version of Warren Zevon’s Excitable Boy after his music came up in quiz I attended a few weeks ago and he’s always worth a share…
