Playlist montage - April 2019 - Rammstein, Darker Shores, The Recks, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For NothingAnother busy and varied playlist this month spanning skiffle and American folk to Neue Deutsche Härte and steampunk.

A few things to point to more specifically include something from the original line up of blackened death metal band Darker Shores who soon make their return to the stage under the name Atomised, a track from The Recks taken from their debut album The Beast From The Sea as they prepare to head out on a UK tour, and the debut single from new Brighton glam band Bright Orange Spectacle.

Spotify seem to have changed things so the playlist on there is in a bit of a confused order, but you can still listen to the whole thing, now up to 40 tracks, by clicking here or embedded below, but here is this month’s selection…

Playlist

  • Rammstein – Du Riechst So Gut (from Herzeleid)

  • Darker Shores – Cursed Beyond The Veil (from Majestically Terrifying)

  • The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing – Obscene Fucking Machine (from Double Negative)

  • The Recks – Trainwreck (from The Beast From The Sea)

  • Frank Turner – Heartless Bastard Mother Fucker (from The First Three Years)

  • Bright Orange Spectacle – She Could Get Better (single)

  • Lonnie Donnegan – Rock Island Line

  • Ramones – Pet Semetary (from Brain Drain)

  • Woody Guthrie – This Land Is Your Land

  • Hole – Celebrity Skin (from the album of the same name and the soundtrack to Captain Marvel)

And for the bonus bit this month, it’s a live and acoustic version of Trainwreck by The Recks recorded in a possibly enchanted forest somewhere by Guernsey Gigs:
