Another mix of things from doom to jazz to ‘Madchester’ this month.
In brand new things there’s music from The Other World’s debut EP The Silver Tree, the debut single from the brilliantly named Those Fucking Snowflakes, the title track from the new Byzanthian Neckbeard album, a preview of the new record from Mura Masa featuring slowthai and the latest single from Jersey’s Monty Taft.
Along with that are some things heard at BBC Music Introducing Live including John’s God Speed In The National Limit following their set opening for Catfish And The Bottlemen.
Following their reunion I’ve got to include something from My Chemical Romance, there’s something from The Happy Mondays after the new edition of the movie 24 Hour Party People and on a more personal note a live version of George Gershwin’s Summertime as sung by Ella Fitzgerald.
You can listen to all of those and the rest of my playlist for the year on Spotify by clicking here or it’s embedded below.
