Lots of new music this month from various places and a couple of old ‘classics’ too.
Starting off with stuff closer to home there’s new music from Byzanthian Neckbeard’s Extinction EP and the new single from Track Not Found.
Further afield I’ve got tracks from King Nun’s debut album Mass, The Darkness’ latest Easter Is Cancelled and The Wildhearts Diagnosis mini-album along with something from the new to me but released earlier this year Dogrel from Fontaines DC.
In terms of classic stuff there’s The Fuzztones Heathen Set from the In Heat album that I picked up on vinyl, Love Bomb from Sacred Hearts following their great show earlier in the month and a festive bit of vintage Ministry.
I’ve also included Eddie & The Hot Rods’ Do Anything You Wanna Do in tribute to Barrie Masters who passed away earlier in the month as they were one of the veteran bands who I got to photograph a few years at The Fermain Tavern and The Risk, who supported at that show, played it as a tribute at their latest gig as well.
You can listen to all of those and the rest of my playlist for the year on Spotify by clicking here or it’s embedded below.
